About the role

SOL Belize Limited is hiring a full-time Sales Assistant in Belize City to provide efficient and effective support to its Sales team. The Sales Assistant supports the Retail, Commercial and Lubricants Executives with customer accounts, pricing, contracts, reporting and sales-related programmes.

Responsibilities

Support Retail, Commercial and Lubricants Executives with opening accounts and collections
Conduct annual customer account reviews, including pricing, credit terms and limits
Monitor lubricant and fuel prices for competitiveness
Reconcile and generate credit notes for customer rebates and staff fuel offtakes
Maintain the price change workbook, update price changes in the system and notify customers
Prepare draft service station contracts and customer agreements for review
Maintain Sales Department files and data, and prepare reports including HSE and volume reports
Develop and deliver the department’s annual training plan for staff and customers
Coordinate procurement of goods and services for retail and customer sites
Assist with the Food Safety Program through training and quarterly audits
Monitor the maintenance programme and follow up with Sales Executives
Manage sales-related inventory such as promotional items and uniforms
Assist with capital expenditures, create and analyse sales data, and submit wetstock reports
Work on special projects as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Marketing or a related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong teamwork, interpersonal and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated problem solver with strong attention to detail
Enthusiastic and committed in a fast-paced environment
Tactful and pleasant when dealing with customers

Basic SAP knowledge
