Physical Therapist
About the role
Hillside Health Care is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist, reporting to the Rehabilitation Director. The therapist provides care through a community-based rehabilitation model in the clinic, in patients’ homes and in remote villages, and supervises physical therapy students.
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy in the clinic, in homes and in remote villages
- Evaluate homebound patients and implement treatment plans
- Precept international DPT and physiotherapy students
- Lead community-based rehabilitation curriculum components
- Partner with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education on rehabilitation standards
- Take part in quality-improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy or physiotherapy program
- Licensed and in good standing in your home country
- At least 2 years of clinical experience
- Willingness to learn and apply the community-based rehabilitation model
- Experience supervising graduate-level PT or physiotherapy students
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Fluent English
