About the role

Harvest Caye, Norwegian Cruise Line’s island destination in southern Belize (operated by Belize Island Holdings Ltd.), is hiring Landscape Staff for its Operations and Maintenance department, reporting to the Landscaping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Mow, trim and edge lawns; plant, water, fertilize, weed and prune
Operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, blowers and irrigation equipment
Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely
Help with landscape projects and irrigation installations
Report pests or plant disease
Keep walkways and common areas clean
Use personal protective equipment

Requirements

Basic knowledge of plants and lawn care
Able to use landscaping tools and machinery safely
Able to work as part of a team
Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors

Preferred qualifications

High school diploma
Horticulture training
Landscaping or groundskeeping experience
