About the role

San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi, which runs passenger ferry and cargo services between Belize City, Caye Caulker and San Pedro, is hiring a General Maintenance worker in Belize City. The work is physically demanding, indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Carry out building upkeep, including painting and minor repairs
Handle basic electrical work on fixtures, switches and outlets
Handle basic plumbing, including leaks, drains and fixtures
Inspect equipment and carry out minor repairs
Maintain grounds, manage waste and store tools properly
Respond to maintenance requests, log work, report hazards and follow PPE rules

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent skill certifications

Preferred qualifications

Plumbing, electrical or air-conditioning experience
Relevant certifications
