About the role

Harvest Caye, Norwegian Cruise Line’s island destination in southern Belize (operated by Belize Island Holdings Ltd.), is hiring a Cart Attendant to run a beverage cart selling fresh coconuts and other drinks to cruise guests.

Responsibilities

Stock the beverage cart
Open coconuts safely using a machete, cleaver or husking machine and sanitize tools
Track inventory
Handle cash and card sales on a mobile till and upsell cocktails
Verify that guests buying alcohol are 21 or older
Dispose of waste safely and balance the cash float

Requirements

High school diploma
Able to lift 40–50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 6–8 hours
Able to handle sharp tools safely
Able to work outdoors
Good English
Food handler’s card

Preferred qualifications

Food and beverage experience
Spanish
