About the role

San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi, which runs passenger ferry and cargo services between Belize City, Caye Caulker and San Pedro, is hiring a Cargo Cashier in San Pedro to process cargo shipments and payments. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

Process cargo shipments, invoices and receipts and calculate charges
Accept cash, card and other payments and issue change and receipts
Verify cargo documents and keep transaction records
Reconcile cash at the end of each shift
Advise customers on rates and procedures
Work with Cargo Agents to resolve discrepancies

Requirements

High school diploma
18 years or older
Fluent English (Spanish is a plus)
Flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Able to stand for long periods

Preferred qualifications

Cashier, customer service or cargo experience
