About the role
San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi, which runs passenger ferry and cargo services between Belize City, Caye Caulker and San Pedro, is hiring a Cargo Agent in San Pedro. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process cargo for dispatch
- Verify cargo documents, labels and shipment details
- Keep records of cargo movement, invoices and tracking logs
- Inspect cargo condition and ensure proper handling standards
- Help resolve shipment issues or delays
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 18 years or older
- Fluent English (Spanish is a plus)
- Flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Able to lift cargo safely
Preferred qualifications
- Cargo, logistics or customer service experience
